Project Mission

We are teaching children and adults about the importance of conserving and protecting our water and preventing waste in our homes and businesses by engaging them in making quilts that display those themes.

We are giving hundreds of children and adults an opportunity to play a part in the celebration of the Hudson Fulton Champlain Quadricentenial.

Our participants are making the patchwork quilt large enough to cover a football field. There are three themes –

  • To celebrate the Hudson Fulton Champlain Quadricentenial.
  • To protect and conserve water and other resources
  • To prevent and reduce waste in our businesses and homes
